Enter the classrooms and ask any student if he or she has learned anything about Beethoven or Mozart; the answer you receive will always be "yes." In the music classes, students learn about the backgrounds of various composers and learn to read music. Some students sing in chorus, or play instruments such as the viola, guitar, flute, tuba.

These talented young men and women are able to show the progress they have made with seasonal concerts and other school functions that their friends and family attend. The band program provides students with a great, practical learning experience about music and different cultures that other classes do not often do.
