Interact is an organization sponsored by Rotary that does Local and International Community Service Projects. For our Local projects our group has collected food for homeless shelters, made coloring books, banners and hats for Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital, and sponsored a school-wide book drive for inner city children with lead poisoning. For our International projects we have purchased wheel chairs for people with disabilities in third world countries, supplied shoes, sheets and soccer balls for CIMA, a boys’ orphanage in Peru, and contributed to a water-well in Indonesia following the Asian Tsunami.
