Future Business Leaders of America |
The Future Business Leaders of America is an educational association of student members preparing for careers in business. The association has three divisions:
FBLA for students grades 7-12
PBL for post-secondary students
Professional Division for individuals who support the goals of the association.
The mission of the Future Business Leaders of America is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership development programs.
FBLA's goals are to:
promote competent, aggressive business leadership
understand American business enterprise
establish career goals
encourage scholarship
promote sound financial management
develop character and self-confidence
facilitate transition from school to work
FBLA-PBL, Inc. has a combined membership of over 270,000 active members in 12,000 charted chapters in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, United States Territories and Department of Defense Dependent Schools worldwide. The Loch Raven High's chapter of FBLA currently has twenty members who actively participate in conferences, seminars, and competitive events.
