Last night, May 21st, the music department hosted nearly 200 student performers for our 2nd annual area music festival! Ridgely Middle, Loch Raven Tech and Pine Grove Middle each brought an ensemble of musicians to perform with our orchestra and symphonic winds. It was a great time of togetherness that was an incredible showing of pride for our school and community. There are some powerful things happening in music here!
In tradition, we honored one middle school with our annual “Helmsman Award” an award that is presented to one school who demonstrated the pride and high levels of decorum that the music dept is known for here at LRHS. This year’s recipient was Pine Grove Middle School!
