AVID

AVID is a rigorous college preparatory program geared towards students who have potential, are motivated and are traditionally underserved in the educational community. The goal of the program, and in turn the students, is to attend a four-year college. Students may be recommended by a teacher or guidance counselor or may request themselves to be part of the program. Students must fit a series of requirements and must undergo an interview by the AVID Site Team in order to be accepted into the program.
