The goal of the Guidance Office is to help each student strive to realize her/his potential as a student and as a person. Exercising their training in counseling, consulting and coordination, the counselors team with teachers, administrators, other staff members and parents to organize and implement a program of guidance and counseling services for all students. Counselors work in small groups and with individual students to manage the challenges and pressures of young adulthood.
Guidance Counselors coordinate student schedules and four-year plans for academic, business, trade, and military placement.
Self-directed career exploration is recommended to all students and their parents or guardians. Click here for the Occupation Search. This is a worthwhile venture and will help prepare a student for the college search process.
